Motive's executive team combines more than a hundred years of experience in large, successful communications and enterprise companies such as AT&T, BT, Cisco, Frame Technology Corporation, MCI, Siebel Software, Sprint International, Sun and Tivoli Systems.

Alfred Mockett, Chairman & CEO
Alfred Mockett joined Motive in February 2006 as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. His career in technology and telecommunications spans more than 30 years, working in both private and public companies. Prior to joining Motive, Mr. Mockett served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of American Management Systems Inc. (AMSY), the $1 billion IT consulting and professional services company which was acquired in 2004 by the CGI group. Before AMS, Mr. Mockett served on the Executive Committee of BT for 10 years in a range of divisional capacities, including Chief Executive Officer of BT Ignite, BT’s $6 billion international broadband data and applications services business. Prior to this role, Mr. Mockett led BT’s initiative to bring together all of the company’s disparate international activities under BT Worldwide, a single division to deliver on BT’s vision to be a major player in the global communications marketplace. He has also held executive positions at Memorex Telex and General Computer Systems Inc. Mr. Mockett graduated with honors from the University of London.

Richard Hanna, Chief Operating Officer
With more than 29 years experience in telecommunications and technology, Richard Hanna is responsible for the daily execution and strategic operations at Motive. He was previously President of Sales and Marketing at Teligent, where he helped build the company into a leading fixed wireless carrier. He later became the President and Chief Executive Officer of Teligent International. His telecommunications experience includes President and Chief Executive Officer at MFS-Intelenet, plus senior positions at MCI and AT&T. He has also served as Chief Executive Officer at Cidera, a satellite-based content delivery company, and AiMetrix, a telecommunications network software company. Mr. Hanna received his Bachelor of Science in Marketing from University of Central Connecticut, and attended Executive Studies at Stanford University.

Mike Fitzpatrick, Chief Financial Officer
Mike Fitzpatrick joined Motive as chief financial officer in October 2006. With more than 25 years experience in finance, accounting, legal and human resources, Mr. Fitzpatrick is responsible for the financial health of Motive’s business. He has served as chief financial officer for Frame Technology Corporation where he led the company’s initial public offering, and was corporate controller at Ashton-Tate where he was involved in two secondary offerings and responsible for all Securities and Exchange Commission reporting requirements. Recently, Mr. Fitzpatrick has specialized in providing leadership to private equity-funded technology startups and turnarounds, including QuickArrow, Traq Wireless, Lane15 Software, ibooks.com, Collective Technologies and Technology Works, Inc. He is a certified public accountant and holds a master’s degree in business administration from Rochester Institute of Technology and a bachelor’s degree from Bowling Green State University.

Jack Greenberg, General Counsel and Secretary
Jack Greenberg joined Motive as general counsel in August 2006. With more than 20 years of experience in telecommunications and IT industries, Mr. Greenberg has held a range of senior executive positions leading legal, business development and merger and acquisition activities. Prior to joining Motive, he was general counsel of Corinthian Capital, a management services, advisory and investment company focused on telecommunications and its enabling technologies. Mr. Greenberg was also general counsel for Earthlease Ltd. and Bulldog Communications, two UK-based startups. He was formerly with BT where he held a variety of senior management positions, including senior vice president and general counsel of BT Global, and senior vice president of international development and major transactions. Prior to BT, Mr. Greenberg served as general counsel of Sprint International and its predecessor GTE Telenet. He holds a bachelor’s degree in American History from Rutgers College and a law degree from the Rutgers School of Law.

Markus Remark, Senior Vice President of Worldwide Services
Markus Remark joined Motive in September 2003 and currently serves as the company’s Senior Vice President of Worldwide Services, where he is responsible for the company’s worldwide consulting, hosting, education and technical support operations. Mr. Remark previously served as Motive’s Vice President of Services, EMEA/APAC from 2005 to 2008. During this time, he successfully expanded the Motive services team in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the Asia-Pacific regions including the India Development Center. Mr. Remark has over 20 years experience in software industry. Mr. Remark began his professional career with Oracle serving in various service and service management roles. He also worked in senior management positions at PeopleSoft. Mr. Remark received a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Applied Sciences in Saarbrücken.

Anna Clepper, Vice President, Human Resources
Anna Clepper joined Motive in September 2000 and currently serves as the company’s Vice President of Human Resources. Previously, Ms. Clepper was Motive’s Vice President of Marketing from 2000 to 2003, and held roles as Vice President of Customer Care and Vice President of Employee Relations from 2003-2006. With 20 years of experience in the software industry, she has held a range of management positions in marketing, sales, product management, consulting and education. Before joining Motive, Ms. Clepper spent seven years at Sterling Software, most recently as Vice President of Channel Sales and Vice President of Marketing. Prior to Sterling, she worked at KnowledgeWare and TSYS. Ms. Clepper holds a bachelor’s degree in English Literature from Vanderbilt University and a master’s degree in Communication from Cornell University.
