Operators Turning to Motive for Next Gen Broadband Provision
Across Europe and Asia
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE -- Toronto, Canada, and London, United Kingdom -- March 25,2026: Motive, a global leader in mobile entitlement, device and service management software, has announced significant growth and momentum for its Home Device Manager (HDM) offering, with two new operator contracts.
Another leading operator in Italy has selected Motive’s HDM to modernize its fixed broadband operation. The initial deployment will see the company manage a base of 200,000 residential Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) gateways, with capacity for expansion to support its position as one of Europe’s most extensive fixed access infrastructures, serving millions of households and enterprises across Italy.
The agreement further expands Motive’s footprint in Italy, where multiple leading operators already rely on its solutions for fixed and mobile device management as part of the country’s wider digitalization agenda.
A carrier-grade solution designed to manage and secure home networks, HDM provides advanced functionality to simplify and scale device operations, enabling zero-touch provisioning, real-time diagnostics, automated firmware updates, and deployment of containerized applications such as smart Wi-Fi optimization, speed testing, and parental controls.
Most recently the solution has also been adopted by the largest operator in Kazakhstan, as part of its commitment to launch a new era of reliable and scalable internet services. As the country’s leading fixed-line and broadband providers, the company serves nearly two million fixed-line customers and via its subsidiary, supports an additional eight million mobile subscribers.
With the rapid growth of digital services in Kazakhstan, the agreement with Motive forms a key part of the operator’s proactive approach to modernize its infrastructure, deliver next-generation connectivity experiences for Kazak households and businesses nationwide, and accelerate customer service improvements. It also establishes a foundation for potential expansion into neighboring markets, reinforcing Motive’s growing footprint and customer base in Central Asia.
Motive's HDM gives operators the tools to manage devices at scale, and the confidence to plan for what's ahead. Deployed across 150+ global CSPs, with active in-house development, a committed product roadmap, and emerging standard support including USP TR-369, Tier 1 and Tier 2 operators are choosing HDM as the long-term foundation for their broadband and fixed-wireless ambitions.
Jeevithan Muttu, SVP & GM of Device Management at Motive, commented: “These two agreements are a clear demonstration of the confidence global operators have in our Home Device Manager offering in enabling them to meet the myriad of demands associated with smart home connectivity. After comprehensive, competitive processes and in-depth market analysis, HDM is being regularly selected for its range of capabilities, not least its security-driven architecture that includes two-way SSL, role-based access control, and traffic regulation models to help operators address security, compliance and data protection concerns.”
